A REFERENCE

The truthfulness
of the waxing moon
Is only seen
by those
with the courage
to walk
in darkness.
 
It leads
not to exalted heights
but instead
to the outer stillness
and inner activity
of two cows
whose day's grazing
is done.
 
In walking
you find
it is not
a lonely path
but instead
you are accompanied
by all you had hoped
could be loved.
 
It is you.
 
Walk along a dark and quiet path with the help of the bright moonlight.
